Inspecting Hoist Control System
The control system is a critical component of the hoist & must be consistently inspected to identify signs of wear and tear. Check it over for any visible damage or malfunction. Then test each button or switch to ensure they are functioning properly and as intended.
Clean your control system on a regular basis. Use a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or debris from the control buttons. And absolutely avoid using harsh cleaning agents.
Excessive moisture can damage the control system.
When any component of your pendant is damaged, the part should be replaced promptly. You do not want to be working with faulty controls that could compromise the safety of your hoist, putting your operators in jeopardy.
Consult the manufacturer’s guidelines for replacement components. And always remember, you can seek the help of the experienced technicians here at DSM Hoist for ordering and installation.
We’re happy to help you.
